What's the deal with K&C sets WSS38 TO 46 still being available ??????

They've been out for ages, I mean when I bought my first sets of K&C figures WSS38 was the only German set I bought, and that was when I was seven:eek:

Newer sets like the D-Day comandos are now retired but those german sets are still available:eek:????????????????

I mean what's up???Are they just not as popular or something????????

I'm not complaining, I'm just being inquisitive:D

I can see those being unpopular for some reason. Maybe they created say 2000 and every one who wanted them (1500) bought them so alot of vendors may still have supplies. Just a thought.

Cheerz:D:D:D:D:D

I hypothesize that it's the exact opposite - those sets form part of the core of K&C's waffen-ss series, which is their best selling line. They're are also some of the only standard Wehrmacht troops K&C has produced. Therefore they have not been decommissioned because they keep raking the money in for K&C.

Right on CS, and the same goes for most of the LAH range, luv or hate em, those Krauts are more popular than any others

PS, Andy has said before that the main reason for early retirement of a set is lack of popularity with customers.

King Tiger, Tiger and Sherman

Hoping its not the Hetzer, havn't got that yet.

Rob

Hetzer and Grille I reckon or maybe that Normandy SP gun?

Here are my thoughts on future retirements:

American : DD 49 3/4 Ton Jeep

German: WS 72 Panther

AK 26 Desert Transport

Those are my best guess - what about the rest of you guys?

Yes that summer Panther could well be a good bet to go into retirment.(don't mind as i've got it!;))

Rob

Hello all:

Im guessing the Normandy Panther and the German Winter SP Gun set have seen their final days

As far as the American stuff, Im guessing either the Churchill Tank or the Staghound(neither of which I guess are actually American)

Take Care
MCKENNA

Since the Ak26 desert transport is supposed to tow the ak27 10.5cm gun it would be very strange to retire one and not the other.
