Forgetting dispatches for a moement (never thought you'd hear me say that eh?;))what will be your first buy for this new year that was launched today?.Me i'll be buying a couple of more Arnhem Paras and a vehicle of some sort, the Grey Kubel and Desert Stug are faves right now.

Rob

Most likely a couple of more 93rd Highlanders for my "Thin Red Line", or.....possibly some of K&C's WWI Germans. We shall see.

The Thin Red Line figures are superb arn't they.So far i've resisted but i don't know how long it'll last!

Believe it or not, as much as I like the Crusader range, my first 2009 purchase might just be a Figarti LRDG cwt 30 Chevy and a couple sets of K&C SAS figures.

Good choice, these are all excellant sets.I really like the K&C guys who are lying down and observing the enemy.I think there is very little between the Figarti and K&C chevy trucks,i just love the sky blue camo versions myself.

Yes, Rob, they are really superb. This is what I currently have on hand, but I am planning to add at least 4 more of the current offerings and likely one or both of the Russian Hussars before the June 2009 items come on line. :)

No argument from me on this notion. :)

1. KC Storch Feiseller (Greece version). KC will announce delivery sked in
January.
2. KC Luftwaffee Series
3. KC Airforce Series

Thinking about purchasing one of the FOB's Stug III for my Arnhem setup.
Looks promising.

First, I plan to get the two remaining K&C mounted crusader knights that I don't have yet, as well as the K&C mounted Saladin. I will then have at least one of each of the entire K&C crusades line. Since more figures of that series were recently discontinued, I am hopeful that there will be new releases for the crusades series in the near future, all of which I will collect.

Another K&C line I'm interested in is the Napoleonic mounted French Cuirassiers. The figures are colorful and very animated, including the excellent horses. I also like the cannons of the Napoleonic series. However, that would come after my knights.

I think I may get some more of the Cuirassiers before they are discontinued; they are a relative bargain now. In fact I just applied by TF rewards to a couple.;):D Then I am looking forward to my deferred Christmas presents from First Legion and hopefully some of their Cavalry.

Im very torn between picking up the rest of the Union WBTS I dont have from K&C and whatever I can get from Collectors Showcase. I know Ill get both before the year is out but Im not sure which is going to be 1st yet. Conte could possibly enter the equation to.

Actually I purchased them on the 31st, but won't recieve them until the 2nd or 3rd from e-bay, I picked up the Wittman tiger and weapons carrier and jeep set ( d day) this year I wrote a list of retired stuff that I'm missing and I am going to concentrate on the older retired stuff first and pick up any new stuff later, Sammy

I,m shopping around for some of KC indians from the American Revolution.I just recieved my first one.I also ordered the 42nd Highlander of the Boer War from Britains.I plan on collecting figures or sets that catch my eye, they can be from any company or any range up and including WWI.

Good call there Sammy.I have these sets and they are both very good.Wittmans last Tiger was the first Tiger i got and its still one of my faves, the older D Day sets are fast being retired but i think June 09 is going to be great for us D Day fans.

For the past i don't know how many years, i've said i must buy 'Seizing the colours' as my first Nap set, maybe this year i will finally take the plunge.
