Where I sell my "homemade" stuff... (1 Viewer)

How is etsy for exposure? I am building up an inventory of live/wane edge wall shelves and various shadow box wall units to start selling. How is your experience with etsy?

Like Ebay, you can pay more to get better billing, but I generally don't spend the extra dough. I've sold a few things on there, but I think the place is largely populated by those of the fairer sex, with little taste for toy soldiers. It is very reasonable to post on there, like .20 a listing per month, so it is worth the gamble. I'll probably maintain it until I have my own site up later this year.

thanks for the info. very helpful. yes, I do think its mainly women on that site, looking for things to add to their homes and/or apartments. that's why I'm focusing on well made, easy to hang, naturally colorful, easy to ship shelves, shadow boxes and live/wane edge shelving.

tho, as a guy, there is a belt and buckle combo I really want. made from iron, fits my style and incorporates a bottle opener. Perfect!
