Well, just jotted down my FINAL purchase list from KC for WW2 and AWI products. It's been such a fun ride but, dare I say, these collections are becoming complete. While I'd like to buy the jagdtiger, the fact is, Figarti's Abrams will keep pulling me away- just simply a personal preference, nothing more.

I am still firmly entrenched in the Egyptian line.

Still, that being said, I cannot believe it but I am actually contemplating "Jumpin to Jesus" ^&grin those LoJ figures are just stunning- the colors are so very vibrant and they really diorama up together- if any of you guys get a chance- check out www.handmadehistory.com for an amazing Jesus diorama. This set really speaks to me. Guess I will make the final call once the first Jesus sets get retired.

I just cannot believe I am contemplating this. Spending $79 for a bunch of farm animals is probably a no-go (though my daughter would enjoy them) but the $49 camels are some of the best kept secrets in the KC catalog right now (my op).

I am with you on the Egyptian sets.....I don't think i will ever stop that one ......^&grin

Chris LOJ sets will put a smile on the family's
face at XMass time. Beleive me.

Hey I bought 4 sets of animals, very useful in all types of settings LOJ,AE,Sudan/Zulu. The ruined temple columns look great for April, will need several of those for AE, my favorite series also. Cheers, Robin.

Hey Chris,

Thats the joy of this hobby, sometimes you think you are entrenched in your collecting and then something from out of the blue comes along and wammo, you're hooked!. Hope you enjoy the LOJ line my friend, they certainly do look colourful figures, its the same reason that suddenly I'm liking the SOE and Napoleon in Egypt lines.

Rob now you are saying bright red coats are more colorful than gun metal grey or Italian style maple leaf cammo.

Gotta say, I never thought anything would get me involved in Napoleonics. It's not that I don't like the period, I do, just that it is so vast, so diverse. Now along comes KC with Nap in Egypt. A wonderful subject and now I am seriously thinking of finally taking the plunge. The new figures are just fantastic. -- Al

I would never suggest such a thing!:wink2:

will also be purchasing the temple ruins for my AE series as well .....^&grin

I do like that new temple ruin entrance that came with the NOE series too. After displaying my AE collection, i have discovered I have a decent little procession that would look good marching through an archway or something. This piece might fit the bill.

Also, the "Native guide" could go with the AE series or better the LoJ series. I even might try and put him in my Afghanistan diorama. Pretty versatile little bugger that one. :smile2:

The native guide would work equally well with AK or 8th Army units in the desert war
