I just was given the new Union Artillery Set #4 31148 for an early birthday gift and there is no bucket included. The catalog picture clearly shows the cannon with the bucket. I also talked to a friend of mine who just received the set as well, and no bucket on his either. What happened ?

No bucket on my set also. However, I am not using the ordnance rifle, instead I am using a napoleon gun to go with the rest of the releases and to develope a six-gun battery representing Battery B that supported the Iron Brigade through most of the war.

My set is enroute. Maybe you don't need the bucket, fig 31145 Union Artillery Crewman advancing with Sponge and Bucket comes with one.

Fig 31144, Union Artillery Corporal Sighting Gun, has a sword belt. I know sergeants carried, or were authorized, a sword. What about corporals? I thought not. What do the experts say? Chris

That's my thought Chris, using fig 31145 with this gun set resolves the issue of the missing bucket.
