I'd see about tracking down the NMA version from a few years back. It's probably less than a quarter of the price of those two.

However if ur determined and willing to splash out then the FL version does look incredibly detailed.

It also depends which one would go better with your existing collection.
If it's mostly K&C then the FL one might not fit in so well.

Both are very nice examples I would probably go for the K&C version as thats what makes up the majority of my AFV's,but I also second what James said Wayne, try and track down the NMA version, they produced some cool vehicles too.But all credit to FL,that looks one cool AFV:cool:

I think the NMA version is 1/32 scale and would be OK with the older smaller K&C AFVs, but not so good with the new full sized 1/30 scale K&C AFVs.

The scale and detail of the FL piece are better, but I would want to see it in the dark grey colour. The K&C piece is more of a collectors item and I'm not so sure you can get one for $300.?

Yes Terry,I was talking purely from an 'eye of the beholder' point of view.Arguments about scale have become tedious of late;)

Actually the FL one could become the star of one's collection based on how it looks in the photos.;)

At that price both would be the star of anyone's collection. I think if you spend that kind of money it has to be special.

The NMA summer and winter versions are still being advertised as available at the Old Toy Soldier Home at 50% off retail, ie., for $39.00 out the door. They also show the winter Sturmtiger. I have a summer version and they are nearer 1/32 (as is KC's) but they are certainly a bargain at $39.00. Hope this helps. -- lancer

Well that would be a lot to me for sure but the question was relative and I think the answer depends on your preference for either relative scarity or sculpting and painting detail. Take a look for example at the recently posted photo of the bottom detail;)

I've found the NMA great subjects as I love this particular vehicle and would recommend them to anyone one tighter budget. there lower price make them great for conversion and/or experimentation.
The pics show the K&C model on the left the other 2 are NMA conversions.
