I noticed the colors look different in the "210 Days" brochure vs the individual product photo. Can someone tell me which is more accurate?

Thanks

The individual product photo looks just like my Tiger. -- Al

Kurt,The 2nd photo (green one) is the actual color...I would have preferred the top photo

The greeny one is the one who was made
It's seems that everybody has a green one so is mine

Kurt ,
I have looked it up in my ref.books which I use to make my diorama's e.a."Panzer Colours" and Panzer Farben 1940-1945
Yellow-green is certainly OK for the Russian front.
The darker one is also correct.I noticed that most of the Tigers that fought on German soil at the end of the war were darker in colour.(desert colour)
In France during the Normandy campaign both colours could be spotted on the battle fields ( In France the so called "ambush scheme" was much in use nl: basic yellow, heavily overpainted in dark-green and red-brown, which are in turn dappled with dark yellow)
Me personally I prefer the darker version.

I can't explain the lighter version on the Photo's but, it may have been painted with a lighter shade. The tanks going into zitadelle were newly camoflaged so, entering battle would have looked quite new until the usual wear and tear of battle etc would have faded down their colouration. I have only seen five different sets and each was pretty similar with only one showing a slightly lesser dark green to the others but, even then nothing like as faded in the photo.

Hi Mitch
Is it down to different lighting in the photos
As it the same with the new Panther

May well be but, the pic looked really worn. Maybe they weathered it up and had a play before taking pics

I like the coloring of the new Kursk Tiger. It just looks right in darker shades. One of the reasons I traded off my Nomandy Panther was I really didn't like the bright yellow base coat. When put against my Honor Bound Panthers and Jagdpanther, the KC Summer Panther was too bright. I prefer darker colors on my AFV's. From the color ills I have seen, the new Kursk Tiger looks correct. -- Al

Is the new Panther darker or lighter than illustrated? The Summer Panther had a real bright yellow base coat. Is the new Panther anything like that? -- Al
