I have the new stuff not the first older sets.
i love the russian front and consider the berlin series russians some of the best work kc has done. i am waiting for the su 52 , and a mid series marder with the gun centered mid carriage like at kharkov in 1943. i think andy is missing the boat on the eastern front and if he comes up with a serious effort i think more people would get aboard.. .. of course i would alway like to see a jagdtiger. i figure if i keep asking it is bound to happen one day.
I think that is a bit of a stretch but certainly they played a valuable and costly role. If you wanted to single out one factor, probably Hitler was most responsible for the Allies winning WWII....we are ignoring the participant who was probably most responsible for winning WW11.
but then this statement has been made many times on the forum----and still no russians???

With all of the collectors here checking in about how much they'd like to see more Russians, it makes me think/hope more will be made at some point.
As far as the Russian efforts in WWII, it would have been a monumental task defeating the Germans had it not been for the Russians and the way they bled the Germans dry on the Eastern Front. The entire 6th Army was wiped out at Stalingrad, they fought the Germans to a standstill at Kursk despite the debut of the Panther and Ferdinand and the smashing success of Operation Bagration in June of 1944.
Too bad you guys don't collect in 1/72nd scale, the Eastern Front is very popular in that scale..........
