It's a one off made by Andy C himself, depicting one Capitol Ron on hearing that not only are Seminoles ever going to be produced, but all Napoleonic ranges are being cancelled to facilitate the increased production of the Arnhem range. :)

I can't remember for sure, but is it a Hatchette or Del Prado figure?

I seem to recall that it's a Del Prado figure and hard to find. Ron would probably know for sure.

Barring that, the answer would be his parents :p

Andrew,

I can see that its not the Andrea figure (S7-F36 ) that I have painted for another collector.

The sword is not covered by the coat and a different base, but I do recall seeing an unknown Russian or Ukraine maker selling something similar, hence the unbranded base.

Very nice version John; I prefer yours.:D

This is a Hachette figure from there Napoleons Marshalls series. The line is a french series similar to the DelPrado series of a figure with a book and was available as like a franklin mint type mail order series and if you subscribed to the whole series you got this figure as a bonus figure along with a french grenadier standing at attension which was the same figure as the K&C grenadier figure. These figures were produced in lower quantities then the rest of the figures because full subsciptions were much fewer and these figures became sought after because they are harder to find! I know i,m still looking for one.:(
Nice looking figure, I hope to get my hands on one some day.

If I had seen this thread, would have picked up another one. It is a nice Hachette figure that has been described by Fish quite well.

Now that you mention it, there is an amazing resemblance to capitolron. And just like with Superman and Clark Kent never being seen together, we never see capitolron and Napoleon together, yet capitolron speaks like he knows Napoleon well. Hum, I wonder ...?

I am the person who paid the super expensive price for this figure in EBay almost 2 years ago. I seemed to recall I out bidded Fish to that figure.

Napoleon and I are friends - thats all - although he has been seen in Washington from time to time ;)

Yes - Hachette figure for sure. The Napoleon General series is a great series which I collect and have displayed with my K&C Napoleonics.
