Here are some hints:

-they are from the 1930's
-they also made airplane kits
-they are scaled in 1:72nd range and were made to also accompany Dinky vehicles

So, who do you think made these?

Dinky Military are 1/60, which makes me wonder why these figures are 1/72 :confused:
 
Nope - Skybirds. They made little plane kits, figures, vehicles and accessories. The paint jobs really varied but they are really terrific little pieces. Especially when you've got hundreds of them in force.

Good point but Dinky figures ran a few different sizes. I was wrong about the 1/72 on the Skybirds, they are closer to the Dinky sizes. Also keep in mind that pre WWII Dinky Toys were smaller than most of the post war releases and these figures are all from the mid to late 1930's.
