On our Forum we have members with some impressive collections. If you could see one collection (on this forum), whose would it be? To name a few, GICOP, NMRocks, UCLA1967, Louis, Artillery Crazy, Zach, Tommy Allison, NZGary, Terp152, FUBAR, Johnny Bach, Serge (King Tiger II), UKReb, Rob, etc. I know they are many more and some who are very low key. I would pick FUBAR with his massive battlefield displays.

You have left out the collection of the late Lawrence Lo, who had a collection when it came to King & Country, rivals anyone, not to mention he had a fantastic collection of Trophy. For those of you who want to see some, but not all of it, I recommend looking at Lawrence's albums. You will be blown away.

Interesting question and I have seen some of the best (I think!) either in person or via pictures. As for mine, I am rather low key and don't post a lot of photos. Over the next year I am finally organizing a near 40 year collection. I am going through every box and putting it in storage so that I can put the finishing touches on my basement. I will then slowly bring back every box from storage, unpack and display or trade/sell what doesn't fit. I just put box #60 in storage and I am about a 1/4 of the way done! It is a task that I never realized how much it grew until you go through something like this. I think my wife has put blinders on so she doesn't know nor want to know................

Someone should start a thread as to who knows the much about toy soldiers. My vote would go to the Baron, Tom Dubel and Mike Tarantino.

There are many I'd love to see, but maybe on top would be Ray's collection of flats. I don't have many and I love the varied subjects he has. Plus, they aren't figures you see all over the place. It's something new every time he posts.

As to knowledge, that's a pretty good list there brad!

Hi Guys,

Great Question! If I could get to see the following collections in person I would be very happy indeed! Pat Wade, Johnny Bach, Damian and Mike Tarantino and Tommy Allison. I must also mention Louis's collection would be interesting as well. But for now I have enjoy all the photos and wait till I get settled in the States again so I can get mine out of the boxes and on display where it belongs!

I wouldn't mind popping around and having a gander at your collection someday mate! You'll have to stock the fridge with plenty of tinnies beforehand of course and none of that emu poison either....^&grin

Agreed with Robin's collection and yeah, Howard's is a must as well!!

Thanks Damian but I would like to view your collection as well as Pat's and Martyn's collections for starters. Tommy

On this website (TreeFrog) is a Photo Gallery section. Check it out. You can view some of Tommy Allison's collection, where he has some nice Trophy boats.

I talked to Nicholas Cameron today...
Crown Military Miniatures...
I asked him which 3 collector's series he would like to view...

his first choice was Louis...

the second was a guy in Vermont...or maybe West Virginia...I can't remember...

his third choice...

he said he would like to find time to unpack his own collection...

just to see what he has spent so much money on never gets to enjoy...^&grin
