Hi,
Great figures, great photo, thanks. Wish K&C still did these lovely glossy figures.

They're very, very nice - thanks for sharing, Leadmen. I especially like the Highlander and the Cuirassier in the middle. Not usually big on gloss figures at all, but there's something very attractive about them.

How long exactly has it been since K&C stopped making gloss??

Cheers,

Molloy.

They still make SOHK in gloss. Otherwise, I believe 1997-1998 timeframe (don't have access to the brochures right now).

Brad seems to be a popular name among those sophisticated enough t o appreciate the benefits of collecting miliatry miniatures.

Unfortunately I do not have such a set. I only started to collect K&C miniatures about two years ago.

There's too many Brads on this forum now. I'm invoking executive privilege and demanding that you all change your name :D (except for me of course).

Do you have one of these sets? Only 100 were made.

We need to find a way to distiguish you all.

Or we could just follow Dr. Suess and call you Thing One and Thing Two...

We're surreounded by Brads!

We also have a bunch of Garys. No offense Gary, Gary and Gary.

As I was one of the first here, have nearly 8,000 worthless posts and the moderator to boot....well, you get the picture!

Yes, I forgot. SOHK, such a lovely series. Thanks for reminder. Why can't I collect everything?:D

Yo Trooper, a really excellent display, its nice to see other peoples collections. Well done.
Bernard.

Here are some glossy that I have. The first photo is of the ground crew set, with Captain Clark Gable, some of the First of the Few set and the MP from the RAF Motorcycle set. Next is a couple of the Camel Corps that I have. Next is Elvis Presley, then a couple of the Free French, which are very rare and last are some K & C bands.

If you guys want to see some extensive glossy, do a search for the Louis Badolato Collection, started by Pete Reuss of photos I took at Louis' house in March 2006 for the Symposium. There should also be photos from the Symposium for 2007 and 2008. There is also the Lawrence Lo collection thread of photos I took at Larry's house in 2006 (Bill Sager also some photos of Louis' and Larry's collection on his web site, www.toysoldiersusa.com). Louis and Larry, together with Hans Hedrich, probably have the most extensive K & C collections around. My apologies for the quality of the photos but you'll see some fine stuff that will take your breath away.

Cool set up, Ron!

Since we are on the subject of glossy K&C, have you ever seen the glossy K&C Roman legioniares, Pretorian Guard and auxilieries made in 1988-89?

Here are a couple of shots of King & Countrys 6 piece Vietnam Firebase:
