Well, I know this was a hot topic on the forum in the past, but the example I am going to post is why you never know what you find at shows! At the show was a gentleman selling his collection and a wonderful collection for stuff I like! I found the following:

A. Original Early Aeroart Mongol mounted on Yak - it is a much copied model, this gentleman had it in the original box...…………………….

B. Early Toy Army Workshop 4.7 inch artillery gun set and crew...……………………………………

Ok, so you say, so what, no big deal...……………………..Well here is the WHOPPER:

C. Metal Shed World War 1 ………………….. 1918 Handley Airplane with Ground Crew and Towing Tractor, #6 made and I am going to be there are less than 10 out there. UNBELIEVABLE FIND, see photo, original retail price 19 years ago $2300. Can't imagine what Bruce would charge now! Anyhow, it is one of the best finds I have made.

WOW Tom! Amazing find!

I've only been collecting 12 years and being that I started when I was 17 my budget was tiny, but the best finds have always been at shows.
You will run into items you will never see anywhere else!

Thanks for sharing! See you soon!

Best from TX,

Congratulations Tom,
Fully agree with you...at the shows is when you trip over some hidden gems....I wish I could be at more shows than the ones I have had the chance to go...but the few I went I have always been surprised with some hidden treasure....
Do post pics of the sets unboxed and on display so we can enjoy your findings...
Cheers
