I just got in the Winter Tank Rider 2 man set #1. Here's one of the two on a FOV Panzer IV. I really like these two figures and they will come in handy for many different winter scenes in the future.

Wonderful figure Duke and a very nice pic! Thanks for sharing.

Hey CM why so snide all the time? Let's not take away from Duke's thread. Does anyone really care whose better than whom? It's all relative mate. No need to provoke a flame war. This is supposed to be fun.

NICE ! I debated about the tank riders and decided I wanted infantry in action instead of passengers-but clearly will want to get those guys.

Well said Joe, these sort of comments only get people's backs up!

Very nice pic's Duke, once again you have brought the scene to life.

Looks good:smile2:.... Not right on scale...but seems to work somewhat well together....Definitely in the "acceptable range" for scale....Thanks for posting

Beautiful work Duke; great photography, good lighting and mood; the figure is nifty and the skin tones are excellent - I don't (yet) seriously collect AFV's in this scale though I have an Italian tank with a kangaroo on it{sm4} and some soft vehicles; but I've quite a collection of 1/72 scale armour and PZKPFW IV is my favorite - the trouble with that scale is getting drivers (and riders) for them. This scale seems to cover it all....thanks for the pics. It's always horses for courses...

Thanks all for the comments.

Vezzolf, you are right about the figure and 1/32 FOV Panzer IV to be not quite right on scale with each other. It's clear in the photos that the rider is a little too big for the tank, but I decided to put them together anyway. When using these FL figures (which I've measured and agree that they are basically 1/30 scale) sometimes the fit is better with FOV when they are placed alongside of the armor instead of on top.

Thanks Fitzgibbon. FOV can work with FL even if they are a little off scale. I don't collect 1/72 armor, but the PZ IV is also one of my favorites.

I really lke that figure. It's useful both on and off vehicles in any number of scenes.

I agree Frank and that's why I got this set really because of this figure. I had already taken some pics of him by himself without an AFV the other day. Here are a couple.

Really looks good.I'm partial to winter scenes anyway. What did you use for snow?

great scene and, a great figure pose. I cringe sometimes at the figures that are put out their as tank riders as the poses are so artificial and unrealistic for how they would be sitting on an AFV.
