Darn right Mark :) Right now, the deer are jumping around. They're about the only ones who enjoy it.

Yeah,There are some poor little birds in my back yard too.I thought they knew when to leave an area.

Winter wonderland. Bah, humbug. I only see white when I look out the window. DC area is now within a couple of inches of all-time snowiest winter on record, with the rest of Feb. and March to go. -- lancer

Here is lovely Reisterstown Maryland, still snowing, 30 inches this weekend, at least 15 so far.

This is my deck that was cleared of 30inches, this is all new snow today

You guys have I real Canadian WINTER, in our case we are almost in spring, the temperature is -1C (Celsius, very hot for Ottawa in mid-February) and almost not snow on the ground.....

They have closed several major interstates along the MD/PA border. That's a serious storm. The snow has almost ended here, but the winds are now gusting to blizzard levels and creating white out conditions.

OMG Tom that is one heck of a lot of snow. I am glad I don't have to shovel that !!!!!!!

Doug,

Baltimore is caught in the "churn" of the storm, the counter clockwise keeps bringing moisture all the way from the ocean and just dumping on us, I have never ever seen this much snow this fast, kind of fascinating.

Still coming down here.It will quit between 10pm and 3am so another 7-12 hours of this crap.
Mark

That's some serious snow Tom. Still snowing hard here. I think we have around 5 to 6 inches so far.

Ya, I restored a 30 year old snowblower in 2003, fully rebuilt in 2006 (except engine, just auger, etc). It has been a godsend especially due to the fact I had a triple hernia and a single hernia surgery in the past 1.5 years. I just hope the deck shoveling I did the other night doesn't cause a 3rd hernia surgery in 2 years!

Again, I know I sound like a broken record, but in 37 years, I have never experienced this.

You are lucky!!! It has absolutely destroyed a project schedule of mine this week. As well, i am scheduled to fly Saturday to Dallas for the NBA All Star Game!!!!!! I am a guest of the City of Houston, but that is looking to be in jeopardy.

Oh, I feel so sorry for you. Now, we wouldn't want you to miss the All Star game, now, would we?;)

Thanks Brad, my wife feels just like you do, it was a heckuva trick to do that on Valentines Day Weekend!

Well it appears to have almost stopped snowing. Looks like we got almost another foot of snow, which means we have at least 3-3 1/2 feet on the ground. This storm has broken the DC area record for most snow in a winter, ever. Just pushed my son out the door with the shovel and broom. Hooray for youth! -- Al

Al,
boy what a difference a 45min drive makes. We are stuck in this churn that they say will last a few more hours. WOW is all I can say. I took more pics, will put them up shortly, we must have near 50 inches on the grass from both storms, it is surreal.

I reenacted the battle on snowshoes trying to get to my storage shed. We have about 25 inches. My dad said he has never seen this much snow in his life.
