George mate,
Brilliant cobber. Love it. I especially like the way you have spaced out your advancing Shermans. Good tank tactics. The Directors of that stupid movie "Fury" could have learnt a lesson or two from you.^&grin I hope we will see more of your outstanding dios in the future.
Cheers from the Land Downunder, Howard

Howard,
Great to hear from you, thank you for the kind words.

I wish you continued success in the land downunder; my only advice is stop and smell the roses once and awhile, which is what I did today. I had a ball setting this one up in between phone calls and emails, but I had to do it, been too long.

Thanks again, all the best to you.............................

George

Hey George mate,
Love it. "Stop and smell the Roses" :) I took my work ethic from you my big "head down bum up" mate, and applied it to our business. Hence business is booming. Would love to smell the roses. Maybe, just maybe this Chicago.:smile2::smile2:
Love to see what you could do with a 20mm Lighthorse Dio.
Cheers Howard

Really like the village layout George, especially the church. The buildings give you so many angles to work with, coupled with open land aspect, makes for a supberb diorama. Well done.:salute::, Robin.

That is humbling to hear; the fact that anyone would use my work ethic as a model is extremely flattering, sort of like a bull in a china shop, but glad it's working out for you.

Chicago; that would be spectacular; between Mike and Zach coming, if you came, it would be the cherry on the sundae, not to mention the bar would be a whole lot of fun......................make it happen H.....................20mm lighthorse; hmmm............:wink2:

Robin,
Thanks for the feedback; the village was a bit of a challenge, not 100% happy with the way it came out, but close enough, it's tricky trying to match the streets on the larger bases to one another.................thanks again.....:salute::

George, what a fantastic layout. It's enormous. Like others, I love the village but the most impressive thing to me is the huge number of Shermans. That is one massive assault being mounted. I am also very impressed with the detail of the figures, in particular the camo on the SS grenadiers. I can't imagine painting those in that scale. They just present brilliantly. Love the Mk.IV covered in brush. I think it entirely possible that the Allies will have to call in the B-26's to take care of the village as the SS are dug in like Alabama ticks. It will be a busy day for the medical services.:wink2: -- Al

Your massive layouts and huge armies never cease to amaze me and now dozens of AFVs {eek3}.From full scale ACW to WWII you're the master

Al,
Thanks for the comments and I am glad you like it; I also appreciate how you pick up on all the small details in my displays. If you scan them long enough, you find a lot of unique things, that is for sure.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment...........

Bob,
Nice to hear from you, hope you are well and thanks for taking the time to comment. It's funny because I was going to do an Antietam layout, been planning it for some time, then I saw "Saving Private Ryan" the other night for the 3,567th time, so I switched to WWII...................will get to that Antietam one sooner than later.............

Great layout George. Really impressive paint and camo on the armor, especially the Germans. Been waiting for you next dio. Glad to see you "back at work." Looking fwd to the Antietam dio. Chris

Chris,
Thanks for the feedback, glad you like it; camo on a 20mm figure and AFV can be a bit tricky, but thanks for the kind words. Been too long since I've done one of these, more on the way in the future......................

That is supurb!! Thanks for sharing it.

What scale is 20mm?

Hi George,

I always enjoy viewing your 20mm mass displays and this one is certainly no exception.

You have put together many including the Napoleonic Wars, the American Civil War and WWII and I love them all.

It must have taken you some time and effort, but I think you had lots of fun.

Many Thanks, Raymond.

Raymond,
Very nice to hear from you, hope you are doing well.

Thanks for the feedback, glad you like and appreciate my efforts...........

Thanks for the pictures and set up George. I enjoy viewing them and the detail is amazing for 1/72 scale. I especially like the artillery and tanks. Too-bad they are not 1/35 scale. I know where there is a nice Tiger Tank to be completed.;) John
