Charlie, you had a site called wooden warriors right. I've been trying to find it, now you have come to the right place. That is a true toy soldier collector, down in the dirt with his troops. Welcome to Treefrog, your pics are awesome. Mike.
Thanks Again Guys. Yep in the dirt you cant get the detail That other Diorama makers get but you sure do have more fun. I usually camp out for a week while setting up. Yes I have started another small web site The link should be under my posts here. I am adding pics. to it as time allows. I have even added pics. of the animals that visit my camp area. There is also a blog there I am using like a guest book please feel free to take a look and say Hi to me there.
Have Fun Guys
Charlie
Here are the TSSD Painted Japanese in the Dirt. I paint most of my soldiers myself but couldnt resist these. I just went up on the mountain for a afternoon set this up real quik and snapped a few pictures. There was about 50 head of deer in my camp area. Buttercups in bloom sun shining with a slight breeze. A warm welcome after a long cold winter.

And The TSSD Long coat germans in the Dirt. These were a much needed group of men in my opinion I just love them. Excuse the paint job but my eyes are starting to fail me and my hands are a little more shakey every year.
Get them in the dirt.

The Quanset Hut is made from cardboard tube. Covered with light bulb packing material to represent corrugated metal. It is fun to create your own accessories.
