John Rosengrant does models as a hobby when not working
in the film industry on such films as Avatar, Terminator, Jurassic
Park [Goggle for more]. There is a good article about him
in the 2nd Qtr issue of Figure International. This WWII diorama
knock me over. One of his entries in the Southern California Area
Historical Miniatures Society Show for 2006. It's entitled "Calm
Before The Storm."

That diorama serves as an inspiration to some scenes that I would like to build someday. Rosengrant's figures from that diorama were released in resin by S&T. I have several of them in my kit stash. Unfortuantely the figures are now out of production.

John has consistently produced some of the finest work in the industry for years now. It is always a joy to see it in person.
He recently spent some time up here in Detroit working on a movie, but managed to find some time to stop by some of the local hobby shops.
Thanks for posting the picture!
