Sounds like First Legion may take the plunge. I've been very impressed with their Napoleonics - so that could be exciting.

We did say we had two new ranges coming out. That's all I'm going to say about this for now so while you are free to speculate, I will neither confirm nor deny anything about this until the time has come, which is Q1 2009. Suffice it to say, that any range we do will get the same treatment as our Napoleonics...

As I said in another post, 2009 will be an exciting time for us and our collectors.

Matt

What Mr Matt said; so, don't any of you guys try to pump me for information at any of the upcoming shows, it won't do you any good.......;)

I know what's coming to some extent and all I can say is .............

Ah ... and the question consequently is, will your Napoleonics still be the same .... Or be treated better :D

Well every time they post a new picture, it is better so the prospects are rather good I would say.:D:cool: I do hope the new range is not WWII but if it is good for the company, that is fine with me.;)

Some of the ships I served in during my first career had nuclear weapons capabilities, we were ordered to and said the same thing, but everyone knows that if you have the capability, you have the .... you get my point. :)

Something to add to the speculation; in the Toy Soldier Magazine of May 2008 it read: "First Legion might branch out in the future with possibilities such as Japanese samurai". I shall say no more...

The funny thing is that the other day, i was looking at the pictures of First Legions latest releases, and commented that i was darn lucky that i have little interest in Napoleonic era.

Now with the speculation of First Legion's WW2 releases, or even Samurais, i'm a bit worried.

If either, or both, are under First Legion's plans, i may have to work extra overtime!

sincerely,

nasir kasmani.

The WWII release is definite.

Because.......I make it my business to know about who is making what and when in WWII stuff ;) Should happen in Q 1 of next year according to one horse's mouth.

If it is WW2, hopefully it will be something different and not the same old Nazi stuff.

OZ,

Now that it looks like it will be WWII do you have any idea which army they will start with?

Old Guard

Good question. I guess the smart thing would be to release sets representing at least two of the combatants, say GI's and Germans.

To often you see companies start off a new range with just One of the combatants and expect collectors to take a chance on what is coming next, but of course most collectors just sit and wait.

Oh how mysterious, now one might have just said they heard it from a reliable source; nawwww, that wouldn't do would it?;):D
