This is my favorite set of the Premier collection of WWI figures.
It is set no. 41034 (Kilted Blackwatch Infantry).
Konrad
This is a great set. I missed this one but have a 4 figure set variation that includes the officer and bayonet cleaning NCO and 2 other infantrymen with rifles. Great figures. -- Al

Fantastic grouping of sets, Luis. Love the variety of troops and transport. Really like the AC's. -- Al

Here I would like to show a few pics of the latest addition to my WWI collection.
It's the Ford Model T Ambulance by John Jenkins.
It is shown here with a number of Britains "Premier" figures by Charles Biggs.
As you all know, these Premier figures are just 54mm scale and small at that, but do provide a perfect match to the size of the Ambulance.
I find it impossible to see this Ambulance working in a display with John Jenkins figures which usually come in a hefty 60mm size.
It is a most beautiful model though :wink2:

Hi Konrad,

The matches you are showing are very nice indeed, and I agree that the JJ vehicles make a better match with the 54mm from Britians and also from TAW/Scale link ...... by far better than when you try to match the JJ and King & Country

Luiz

Thanks Al,

The ACs are nice and sturdy indeed........from the old UK based school......they are worth the amount of lead and copper in them........gee really heavy they are.......

Hi Konrad,

The JJ Ambulance works remarkably well with the Britains Premier figures. I never would have guessed that would be the case, but they look excellent together.

I think you have made an outstanding addition to your WWI collection with the JJ Ambulance. Congratulations on another fine addition to your collection!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Great looking convoy {bravo}}
Did you repaint those vehicles and where are the drivers from?

Hi Konrad,
The vehicles are civilian 1:32 scale 1918-1920 era and the drivers are TAW spares I had in my collection.
All the art work goes to Obee I just had the idea!!

Luiz

Splendid work by Obee on those vehicles and you are one lucky guy to have those drivers on hand :smile2:
I searched for the vehicles and found all the trucks, but what type of vehicle is the limousine shown in you pics?
Great stuff!

Konrad,

Thanks for your kind words,

the vehicles are by Signature Models http://www.signature-models.com/ a combination of die-cast and plastic,

and the figures from TAW, including a spare that I had here, so I think Luiz is a very happy collector after my repaint and adding the drivers. :)

I'm waiting to see them in convoy...

Hi Konrad,
I am happy you could locate the trucks, they are very detailed, they are to the scale and provide us a good base for moditications and dio projects. As to the saloon car it is made by a company called Signature Models if I am not mistaken and I also found it on e-bay......
Try a search at e-bay and see if you are lucky.

Luiz
