Wow, great new stuff from Figarti (1 Viewer)

The figures are getting better too. The paint jobs are much improved, although the poses are still a bit hit or miss. Look at the two SAS men with the jeep. The one with his foot up reading the map looks very natural, probably the best figure I've seen from Figarti, I would grade it an "A", but the one with the sten gun under his arm just doesn't look quite right, the posing isn't natural, I would grade it a "B" to "B-". I wonder if they are using more than one sculptor?

I prefer the figures with the first edition SAS jeep myself but i guess for those who don't want figures fixed in the jeep this is pretty good.

I also like the action poses from the first SAS jeep. My point is that overall quality of posing, sculpting and painting for Figarti figures continues to improve, but still has glitches figure to figure. I was comparing the new SAS jeep figures to each other, not to the first SAS jeep.

Nice to see those LVT's show up. I've been waiting patiently.

Carlos, will they match with the K&C Iwo sets?

The LVT's should but the figure will no likely. However, you never know until you match them up. The Figarti LVT 4 is the identical size of the KC LVT 4. I know I display them both.

Wow that is some nice stuff, I hope Conte and TSSD are looking at this stuff. Those are some nice LV's and poses. Great Stuff Mike:).

Does anyone know if the new LVT 4 being released soon is the same one released last September 2006 except for the yellow stripe along the side of it?

Additionally, at the West Coaster (2007), Figarti had announced a new PT Boat (Vietnam era) and an additional WWII LVT (A)4. Does anyone know if they're coming out soon with the latest batched announced last week or will they be delayed and what about that Pegasus Bridge?

Just wondering, and anxious to add them to my collection.

Carlos

Carlos,
According to Peter at Figarti the LVT pictured on their website with the yellow striping is not a new product but the same LVT as before with "improved painting" and better photography. The current LVT stock photo from Figarti doesn't show any special painting on the sides but the actual product shown in our 360 degree shot has light green squares on both sides so it is a bit confusing.
I have asked Rick for further clarification.
Peter also said the patrol boats will ship mid-June by boat so I don't expect them to be available until mid-July at the earliest. I can't remember if it takes one month or two by sea.
I don't have an update for the Pegasus Bridge at the moment.
Hope this helps a little anyway.
Regards,

Louis,

It could be the photographic angle. Thanks for the "A" (FINALLY!!! from Louis!)
We do use more than one sculptor but this was done by the same guy.

Pegasus Bridge should have arrived in the US by now, Matt should have a couple with more on the way by boat.

We have them available for pre-order. We only know what is on the Figarti site, but we're guessing they'll be available in July?

Sorry Pete and everyone,

Our e-newsletter is MUCH delayed and so the dis-organized launching of products. Once we get the system going, everyone (Dealers and Collectors) will know exactly what is coming and when. Please give us a little more time, I took the factory move too lightly, it actually did disrupt our production and we're playing catch up. But I think we should be on stream quite soon.

If its the photography, you folks need to work on that. This is not the first time that the phrase "the photographs don't do it justice" has been applied to your products.

Hi Rick-

Great stuff but WWII which I do not collect. But, as I already told you, your Warriors line looks fantastic. When are they supposed to be available, again?

Pierre.
