Up next, we continue to expand the Plains War part of our Wild West Series with the very first of the US Cavalry. Sets WW021-022 add a US Cavalry Sergeant Scout along with a US Cavalry Indian Scout. Native Americans had been serving in the US Army since there was a US Army, particularly in the role as scouts. They were able to detect and track far better than the average US Cavalryman and thus were a valuable asset the US Army during the Indian Wars following the Civil War. They were issued US Army surplus uniforms and often mixed it with native dress as we have shown with our figure. Further, he rides a stunning "paint" horse. We will continue to expand this series with more Indians and Cavalry, both mounted and dismounted, so that larger dioramas and displays can be made. Stay tuned!

WW021 US Cavalry Sergeant Scout $199.95
WW022 US Cavalry Indian Scout $219.95

Nice depictions though the cavalry sgt would be better without the saber.. Chris

The Native American scout is amazing. I agree the scout would look better without th3 Sabre, it’s poorly placed
