I just added on K&C sets FW 092 of "Kaiser Bill's Staffwagen" & FW 096 "Kaiser's Valet". I had to redo my prior diorama on the same 39 inch round display table to allow for the space the new "Staffwagen" took up by making the roadway straight all the way to allow for the big new vehicle. Previously I had the road turn to the left as you look at the diorama near the front end of the table. The new set FW 092 is indeed a big model. There are #36 marching riflemen, #3 marching Officers with swords, #3 man flag party marching, walking horse with officer, the Kaiser's car set, the Kaiser, his son, the Kaiser's Aide De Campe & the Kaiser's valet and lastly the K&C figure of Hitler as a Private. This diorama represents the German Army's march on to Paris in August - September 1914.

Excellent diorama!

I cant wait until my Staffwagon arrives.

Very nice dio. The large number of figures are impressive together. -- Al

This must be one of the best diorama I've ever seen! I love marching troops. 36 marching riflemen ... ^&cool

Do you have some more pictures - and larger if possible?

Looks great Gary.

Andy told me years ago when the marching Germans first came out that a customer had ordered a hundred or more (can't remember how many) of the marching Germans. That must look impressive.

Quite a collection you have there ,Iron Brigade. This is a very nice dio .I appreciate your effort to hide the figurines bases; THAT IS HOW A DIO REALLY SHOULD LOOK LIKE!!!!! CONGRATS

Think of the cost of just the 36 riflemen. Not to mention the other figures and vehicles.

Adding the Austrian Corporal was a nice touch though. :)

Dear "Guy":

Thank you very much for your kind comments. Yes, on most of my dioramas I cover up the figures' stands for a more realistic appearance for viewing not to mention for taking photos for later viewing. Of course this is not really possible relative to some of my displays such as my K&C's "Berlin 1938" Parade LAH series display or "Streets of Old Hong Kong". In any case, I really enjoy the making up displays or dioramas. I would never have gotten so many ( I have about 1,200 assorted figures, model buildings, etc currently) sets if it were not for being able to display them as best I can with the display space available.

Dear "ostrein":

Thank you very much for your kind comments! Back in 2007 when K&C's "1914..The March On Paris" series first came out I just had a very small diorama on an about 15 x 10 inch display table with only #4 marching German Infantrymen along with the flag party, Kaiser's Staff car, etc. I sent a photo or two to Andy Neilson in Hong Kong and he replied back that the little diorama looked great, but teasing me he said "just think how great #40 marching riflemen would look like". Well, in more recent times I have got up to #36 marching riflemen which comes to 90% of what Andy said would be great! I think that comes close enough.

Thanks for showing your impressive diorama. You have a nice collection and all the marching guys sure add to the scene.

Dear "ostrein":

I am posting #4 more photos including some close up photos. Tree Frog Treasures Forum does not accept photos at or over 97.7 KB in size. I got as close to that as possible getting photos with sizes of 96.8 KB, 95.0 KB, 91.0 KB & 90.9 KB.

Iron Brigade - the massed ranks of marching soldiers looks very impressive. I like how you have taken the time to hide the base of each soldier. Your diorama is very effective.

I recently noticed that yesterday when I posted #4 additioanl photos I ended up posting one of them twice. Here is the missing 4th photo from yesterday showing several of the front ranks of the marching German Infantrymen.
