WWI German Band in Palestine (2 Viewers)

Good luck with the new project - whilst "awaiting stores" - I have added a smallish contribution to your research - johnnybach

Yes - that is the one. Fitting the arms to the bodies was not as easy as I thought it would be. I have to use some filler to get it right. Instruments are giving me a hard time to cast. Every figure requires a lot of attention to get the joints smooth etc. I decided that I wanted to have 6 drummers iun the band rather than casting 6 figures plus 6 drums each I will make a mold of a figure with the drum allready attached.
Progress is slow but still having fun with this project which actually devided into two by now.
This is just a brief update hope to post more during next week.

Very well done so far - do not rush it - they are looking very good and stand on the bases nicely.............johnnybach

Hello,

did not manage to do too much work on the subject. It is still a lot of trial and error going on which is slowing down the process. But I did make some progress on decideing what paint to use best and to get some waterslide transfers done to spice up the overall appearence once the castings are complete,... at least I hope for that:p.
Not so much presentable new stuff but at least I managed to get a new bandsman finished --- hope to get more done soon - thank you all for your interest.
best regards
Wolfgang
