Here's a few scenes of my K&C collection. Trying to use some of the JG Miniatures scenic snowflakes for effect. I used it sparingly. Not sure if I have the hang of it.

Nice dios mate. I think it's safe to say that you've got the hang of it. Effective use of the snow.

Nice collection. It's amazing how by using straight forward diorama bases they really put our collectibles in the proper context and highlight and show them off even more brilliantly. :)

Nice dioramas. You have a nice collection of K&C vehicles.

wwiibuff,
Great dioramas! Love that JG company! Tell me, how did you photograph these so that the background is all dark, while the scene is forthright and briliant?

Very nice! I really like the use of the farmhouse in the winter.:)

Thanks guys for all the comments.

Mike, to answer your question about the photos, I place the dio base on my dining room table which is a dark stained wood, I turn out the lights in the dining room, but have low level indirect light coming in from the next room so the dining room is not completely dark. Then just take the picture with a flash. Neither the dining table nor the walls of the room show up in most of the pictures. I kind of came across this process by accident, and after seeing the results, decided to take them all this way. I like it as it lets you focus on the models themselves. Just my preference I guess.

Well, It works for me! It puts the whole dio on display, and is a treat to look at. Many Thanks!
Mike
