Your best/favourite of 2012 (1 Viewer)

Ask me this after November and December's dispatches because I believe the best is yet to come.....OMG. However there have been lots of things released in 2012 that are still on my buy list so this is really hard. Near the top are some of the new WWII Normandy Brit figures, the Humber armoured car and U.S. Universal Jeep. Honourable mention to WS197 Sd. Kfz. 234/1 Schwerer Panzerspahwagen.

Although there have been some great releases this year, quite a few of which i have added to my collection, for me i would have to chose a model which as yet has"nt even left the factory???????.
The Easy Eight!!!!!!!!!!!.....I purchased the first Easy when it appeared several years ago...I sold it only just recently..(before i knew a new Easy was on it"s way) I have been wishing and hoping sometime now for a new...(improved) version, and it will soon be here, and judging by the publicity pics its gonna be good!!!.....I"m a happy Puppy!!!!!!!!!!.

Rob,
There have been so many great releases this year with perhaps my favorites yet to come (the Easy 8 Sherman and Bulge support troops).
Here are a few of my favorites this year:

Hi Joe,

Some good choices there mate, thanks for posting your excellent pics. I have been very tempted by the Russian releases but have had to resist because of a strict War budget, but those T34's are splendid releases. The Aussie truck is also rather good and the camo scheme is different and attractive. I have the RAF version of this vehicle and its a good example of what we were talking about in another thread of how welcome these multi version vehicles are instead of one strictly limited edition, top stuff Joe.

Best

Rob,

Thanks for the reply, and I'm glad you enjoyed the pics. I finally bit on a T34 after passing on the prior round. The winter ones just really pop, and it's nice to be able to represent the Russians in my collection. Btw, I'm looking forward to picking up some of the new Russians in great coats too. I love the Aussie truck! I should have photographed it straight on too, because the front end detail is particularly nice (but you know that because you have the RAF version:smile2:). I agree that the multi-version vehicles are a great avenue for K & C to continue pursuing, as opposed to SL. (Anyways, the way I look at it, everything is essentially SL anymore.) Your 2012 choices are outstanding as well with the D Day Spit and UXB sets being absolute gold medal winners, and the Humber a candidate for one as well.

Thanks for another enjoyable thread.
Cheers,
Joe

Cheers Joe and you're very welcome, good to get everyone chatting and posting pics as we move towards Dispatches.:smile2:

Best wishes

Rob
