Your collection; Mainly early, mid or late War? (1 Viewer)

Rob,

My interest has been to collect from all periods of the war and all theaters as well. I like to do scenes from early, mid, late, including, FOB, DDay, Bulge, Russia, Normandy, North Africa, Pacific, airwar, etc., etc.... basically the whole war.

Mostly all Normandy '44, Waffen SS and US Army. A couple of the new German warbirds to round it out. -- Al

Sounds like we collect a lot of the same stuff CFM.

There is one range, and one range only that is calling me ever since it launched. I have fought the urge to buy it as much as I could my friends but I have to report that I am about to fold like a very very cheap deck chair. With a big anniversary coming up and big building plans at the Imperial War Museum to reflect this anniversary I am going to dip a toe in WW1.Can't help myself I'm afraid, have been totally addicted to that awful War since my school class went to Ypres waaaay back in the seventies. I know, Terry is right, no willpower!;)

Rob

Ha, you just reminded me that I'm going to dabble into WWI too! Those WWI warbirds should be awesome, luckily for me thats where I'd draw the line.......maybe. ;)

You too Cyber - what one line - and no squirming.

Terry

PW that's like asking me what child I'd keep! :D I love them all equally. I suppose you could pry me off of D-Day, Fields of Battle and BOB. MG is my favourite line however the allure of the panzers is great and I'm fascinated by the sheer variety and the camoflage of their accompanying panzer grenadiers. I don't think I could ever just collect one line, its just not my style. I'm interested in too many era's ( not just WWII ) and that's my biggest collector dilemma. I suppose if I had to cut back I'd choose my absolute favourite pieces in a wide variety of lines.........is that enough squirming for you? :)

I firmly stick to may 1940, Battle of Normandy and the Bulge
guy:)

Mine stretches from September '44 (Market Garden) to January '45 (BOB)...so yes you could say I'm a late war kind of guy!:)

Cheers mates and happy Thanksgiving!

definitely late WW2 in Europe. The USA was late to the conflict and it took until 1944 for the US to really be able to flex its muscles. My interests start at DDay and go to VE Day, so my K&C stuff is the "Normandy" series and te "Bulge" series.

I have always liked North Africa and of course The battle of the Bulge. So i guess early and late war. I have started picking up some WW1.

My collection is pretty much equally balance between early, mid and late. Some of my favorites with recent releases added....
