If I could squeeze in a comment through these WWI picks...

Crusaders/Saracens...

I would love some "hand to hand" sets with weapons implanted in the loser's body...

a spear piercing a chest...a sword hacking a shoulder...etc...

please no axes...they bend and chip too easily...too flimsy...

some flails or ball and mace would be cool...some halberds too...

maybe a trebuchet or a battering ram...

and some "dead figure" sets on the Crusaders/Saracens...

perhaps some dead knights with arrows in them for the many sets of Saracen archers I own...

this huge series only has two dead figures...

Very dark choices!

Not in any particular order:

1. British horse, Life Guards
2. British Dragoons
3. French Carabiniers
4. DDay stretcher set
5. British Nap foot artillery
6. More French Nap foot artillery figs
7. French Nap Guard casualty figs
8. US Rangers in combat poses
9. P38
10. B25

2) Firetruck, for RAF range & Fields of Battle range.
3) Desert Sherman, for 8th Army range.
4) Montgomery's Headquarter Caravans, for 8th Army range.
5) British LCM, for the D-Day range.
6) GMC Jimmy Truck, for the D-Day range.
7) US Paratrooper Pasangers for Jimmy Truck, for the D-Day range.
8) British Bren Gun Carrier, for the D-Day range.
9) Normandy Halftrack Motorcycle, for the Normandy Germans range.
10) Crashed Messerschmitt 109, for the Luftwaffe range.

Thats my top 10 for now bound to change though lol

Let's see now ...

#1. British Life Guards cavalry ... primarily to reinforce the Greys
#2. Polish lancers ... primarily to see off the reinforced British cavalry
#3. Horse Grenadiers of the Imperial Guard ... primarily because they were the meanest heavy cavalry
#4. Marmelukes ... because they were the meanest light cavalry
#5. Russian Guards cavalry ... because my K&C's Russians ain't got no cavalry yet
#6. Cossacks light cavalry ... because my K&C's Russians ain't got no cavalry yet
#7. More Polish cavalry ... because they have the fanciest uniforms
#8. French carbineers ... because they were the other French Heavy cavalry
#9. Austrian Guard cavalry ... because the Napoleonic Wars was not just between Britain and France & sometimes Russia
#10. Polish infantry ... because they also had the fanciest uniforms.

:) :) :) Thank you for listening

Yes, some modern infantry would be something new and not touched upon much by K&C. Marines, Rangers, royal marines, and Delta would all be welcome.

I second Michael's request for new Crusades pieces. Those grim requests would look great in a diorama. Conte made a fabulous battering ram for their Viking Raid series. I had one, but it was so large that it took up too much room in my diorama, so I sold it on ebay. Their ballista is even neater. I have two of them. The viking gunner that comes with the ballista isn't bad either. There were scandinavians participating in the Crusades. I think the next K&C Crusades release in November will have some nice surprises for us. Most of the mounted figures have been retired, so I expect we'll see some great new ones. Something like a horse-drawn cargo wagon would be a nice addition to any medieval diorama, as would any new siege equipment. I'm looking forward to seeing what K&C will come up with next month.

I would like to see some polish paratroopers in boats as if trying to get across the rhine river in a pulley system with rafts full of medical supplies and ammunition!:DOne boat would have paratroopers floating across in ifferent poses, and the other one could have bullet holes in it with one side deflated, and wounded paras inside it as if the germans have spotted them!:D

Maybe even 2 trees with rope tied to them both so you can stretch them across a river scene?:D

This must be the 5th time I have posted ths idea on the forum, but imagine having this in your collection!:D:cool:

Would tell a story in itself!:)

Does this idea appeal to anyone else?:D
