Zach's Collection (2 Viewers)

Nice photos. What sort of background did you use and what kind of camera?

Backdrop is some cheap thing from amazon. I don’t remember.
The camera is the new Nikon z6.

Must be the camera then as the photos came out nicely, but more art like than photos, if you know what I mean.

I love the camera. It’s Nikon’s first venture into mirrorless slr format.

Bob Hornung Moby Dick set
I waited a very long time for Bob to make another one of these. Show after show, I pestered him. I think he got sick of me asking!!!!
Well, here it is!

That is really really cool. I think he may get another request.

I have been wanting to get a good look at the mirror less Z 6 or 7 but I have a newer D750 and its so good I can't justify the cost.
The picture looks very bright and sharp.

D750 is an awesome camera!
Z mount lenses are very sparse for now too. I got the adapter mount, but haven't tried it yet

I saw the adapter mount on the site. That was my concern not being able to use some of the lens that we have.
I would love to see that camera in action as it breaks a 100+ years of photography.

Once again we have an addition to the collection entitled "If it's really weird, Zach will buy it"!

I just got my first batch of London Gothic figures.
This is a cottage manufacturer in England. I have been wanting to order for a while now and when I saw that Treefrog just added them, I was ecstatic! So, I immediately placed my order and they arrived this morning.
These are just the definition of FUN! Not meant to look real, be of proper scale, etc..just fun! They are wonderfully big and chunky. I didn't measure, but I'd say ballpark of a 75mm figure. Here is a sampling of some - I'll post more soon as I am definitely going to order more of them. Most are obvious who they are, but if you have any questions, let me know

Congratulations Zach on another incredible piece! I don't own any elephants as they aren't relevant to my collecting interest (AWI) but I truly admire them.

Would love to see pics of all the elephants in your collection posted some time.

Mark

Washington on the back of an elephant! Isn’t that historically accurate?

Yep 'wow'. This Elephant is a work of art, priceless. Some amazing items out there.:salute::, Robin.
