I would like to consider the officer as a historical figure rather than a cinematic one. Just my personal choice. So, with that said there are two possibilities of officers from the 24th that have photos prior to the war showing them as clean shaven. The first is Lt James Daly and the facial features of this figure suit Daly reasonably well but I would prefer to consider him as being Lt George Hodson whose body was found at the base of iSandlwana along with Younghusband. Thats my story anyway, and I'm sticking to it!

That's the beauty of this hobby we can use these figures in anyway we want to portray whomever we want. The same figure can mean many different things and be used to represent many different people. I know many of my figures are being used to represent different Battles and in a few cases different units then what FL have intended, the great thing is the misses has never said you do know that's the wrong color facings on those tunics :wink2: or you do know that unit wasn't at that Battle ^&grin.. Its a GREAT Hobby and were only limited by our own imaginations.. regards Gebhard

They are superb and I am delighted with them. This is what I have wanted from a 1/30th manufacturer to begin a Zulu range that I can get from the start. They are also really nice figures

the set. Not much really needs to be said I think as a long time admirer of this battle I am really pleased that FL are doing this and can't speak highly enough of these figures. I also like the addition of a Zulu spear in the box of one of the figures
