Zulu War Figs On Secondary Market (1 Viewer)

I meant speculators buying up collections not speculators selling items.............

If a buyer (or speculator) sees somebody selling a collection and buys it and then can resell it at a good profit then I have no problem with that. I often get people calling me as they want to sell something. Depending upon what it is I will tell them to research it and then give them suggestions as how they might sell it. If they go and sell something for $50 which is worth $500 then good luck to the buyer.

My issue with speculators is those who buy up mutiples of a limited release purely with intent to sell higher once dealers have sold out. For each extra one they buy that is a collector who can not get it at normal retail.

Precisely and I hope this doesn't happen to this great hobby. Speculators ruined the comic collecting hobby for many (including me) :mad:and increased prices of so called rare comic books so that they became out of reach of the average punter.
I would really hate to see that happen to this hobby.
Let's hope it is just a few real toy soldier collectors with deep pockets (as someone put it) paying top dollar for these sold out sets because they really want them for their own collection.

Cheers
Paul
