Foam with artificial grass (the stuff you buy on a roll) glued down. It was just muddied a bit and then the guys added some bagged bits and pieces of shrubbery/flock to get rid of the 'sameness'. This is the same table we used for Waterloo last year so while the figures look great we have walked the line between diorama and display.

YES ... my thoughts exactly. A lazy Sunday watching both Zulu movies. From U-Boat dioramas to Zulu scenes ... as Go For Broke said, you chaps make incredible dioramas. Another huge success.

Great diorama, inspired me to watch Zulu again. Never thought there were that many Zulu figures available until you see them all. Just loved it. Chris
