N.F.L. 24-25 Season (2 Viewers)

There are not any great teams this year. The Patriots and the Broncos are good, best in their conference, but are they SB champs. I’m not convinced as of yet. In the NFC, it’s Seattle, San Francisco, LA and Philly. I don’t see Philly repeating. Seattle is good but I’m not convinced yet. SF is humming on offense but so so defensively. Rams are solid. One of those three teams can win but they don’t blow me away. If SF wins on Sunday, they would have home field advantage all the way through the SB.
Nope, no great teams this year; aside from Carolina and the Pittsburg/Baltimore winner, any of the other 12 teams could win it.

That was an entertaining game from the Niners and Bears last night. Like a video game. I was shocked at how awful both defenses were though. The Niners in particular since they are well coached and usually physical. They looked completely lost. The Bears D was even worse. It's hard to imagine either of those teams winning a SB with those defenses.

I like the Steelers over the Ravens next week. Seattle is playing well but on the road it might be a 50/50 game with SF.

Personally, I think the NFL is fixed, this year has convinced me in more ways than one. I said in the beginning, the product on the field stinks, even if it is fixed as I now believe, it still stinks. Honestly, not entertaining to watch, hard to watch actually. Just my opinion.

With Mahomes out of the playoffs, watch for the NFL to pave the way for that blockhead Allen, his coach Hardo and Bills Mafia to waltz to a Super Bowl.

I don't think the games are fixed even with all the gambling money. That would be difficult and risky. Mostly a product of fans who think a bad call against their team is the result of a conspiracy. I did see something strange this weekend that I had never seen in any pro or college game. Carolina was down 17 points late in the game but had the ball. They took a knee twice including on fourth down. Why not at least hand it off and hope for a miracle? Instead they ran the clock down in the victory (or in this case defeat) formation. A kneel down on fourth down while you are trailing is a new one. Hard to explain.

IMO, there are way to many make or break controversial calls every week in the games that matter (playoff games). With replay today, this should not happen, but it does. I am not trying to sound like a nut in anyway, but every game has it, gets ridiculous. Again, my opinion, but there is a push going on somewhere, whether totally fixed or not is up for debate, but way too much IMO.

That being said you don’t get to 13-3 by accident and you can only play the teams on your schedule.

This whole "they played nobody, therefore they are paper tigers" nonsense got me to do some research.

Come to find out, the 2025 Patriots played the 3rd weakest schedule in the Super Bowl era.

The other two teams; 1992 Bills...........................AND..............the 1999 Rams.

Yup; THOSE Rams.

Both of those teams waltzed to the Super Bowl; naturally, the Bills being the Bills, they lost, but Rams won their SB.

Glass house, stones and all that.

It's ok for your team to benefit from playing the march of the tomato cans, but God forbid another team also benefits.

Unbelievable, but so on point.

Wake me up when the Pats win the SB this year. I've said over and over that the playoffs are the real test. Records don't matter. Ask JMU. If the Pats win it all, then they are the real deal. Beating up on the Jets and Dolphins every other week not so much. Do some more "research" and look up how many teams have ever won 12 or more games in a season with only a single win against a team with a winning record. I bet there can't be many if any.

Your team won a SB thanks to one of the top 3 softest schedules in NFL history, so deal with it. Actually, they weren't your team at the time as they were in St. Louis.

The first Super Bowl they went to where they got rolled by the Steelers after taking down the powerhouse Tampa Bay Bucs in the NFCCG; were they in LA at the time or had they moved to Anaheim? They've moved more times than my bowels have this holiday season.

They should change their name to the Nomads.

For the billionth fudgeing time, you play who you play, the oddsmakers had the Patriots at anywhere from 7 to 9 wins max, they finished 4-13 two years in a row, their roster sucked, their coach sucked, I don't give a fudge who you play, if you stink, you're going to lose, they won 13 fudgeing games so far this year, any given Sunday and all that crap, anyone is capable of pulling an upset, especially on the road, the Patriots were 8-0 on the road.

And yeah, we'll see how the playoffs go, it's house money and gravy for me at this point, football is fun to watch again, that's all I give a poo about.

That's quite a rant from someone playing with "house money." I feel a song coming on:

Your QB's first half passer rating is 26.8, he keeps throwing to the wrong color jerseys.

Worry about your own fudgeing team Harry.

LOL. It's a meaningless game. I don't expect a Pats fans to know the difference with all those **** Super Bowls under Belicheat but regular season games against bottom dwellers are meaningless. I'm surprised the Rams even allowed their starters to play. Good luck against the Dulphins next week. I'm on pins and needles to see who wins that important game.
