The bastion is finally done. I added the painting of the vegetation on Top and on the canon embrasures, and a black-wash with a mix of black acrylic paint and water was applied to the whole model to give it a more used look. And some Finetuning of the model here and there.

I bought two gabions and painted them to use it for covering open canon embrasures during battle.

And now with the beautiful First Legion Thirty Years War artillery set and some musketeers from Thirty Years War. Of course weapon technology has improved from 30 yrs War to the Siege of Vienna 1683, but the town's militia still used older firearms and canons from back then were also in use, since one used anything available to defend the city.
