A few thoughts on the Spurs’ Game 7 win:

Beating the best team from the regular season is impressive;

Huge tip of the cap to OKC for not making excuses about injuries or foul calls despite losing, in this day and age that is rare;

If San Antonio loses to the Knicks it will be an upset;

The Spurs strength besides Wemby is their guard trio of Castle, Harper, and Fox. If the Knicks are going to rely on their smaller players to deal with Castle and Harper, they are going to have a problem.

The Spurs young duo of Harper and Castle are too strong for Brunson, McBride, and Shamut and too quick for their big wings.

The only way the Spurs can redeem themselves is by winning the championship and that is not going to happen.

I hope they lose Saturday so the Knicks can’t celebrate in front of their home crowd in Game 6.

I had actually turned off the game, then turned it back on for the 4th. Thought we were done

Celebrations take care of themselves but still a long way to go. Too early to talk about celebrations.

Wonder if Robert Kraft was upset about the joke.

I don't know, but Barkley has grown on me over the years, obviously don't agree with everything he says, but he always owns the statements he makes. I find that refreshing and I respect that.

As to the Knicks, even in the loss in Game 3 I saw, they still look like they are playing more cohesive than the Spurs. I actually think the Spurs have more overall talent, but are not putting it together when it counts. I would say it is the Knicks to lose at this point. Again, no dogs in this hunt, just observations.

Dont mean this controversial but I just saw the story on the AP about Spurs Big Man and National Anthem. I am sorry, but you are here in the USA earning a very very good living, better than most Americans. Have the respect for the Country that is making you a multi-millionaire. To me that is just common sense. Jeez, not that hard is it? Like I said, I read the article, apparently no one in the press wants to ask the question, so who knows, maybe it is a misunderstanding, but if it is not - GO KNICKS.
