Its no secret now Harry,sv288 said on another thread it was 'Rough Riders'.
Rob
That's interesting sv288. And for U.S. ONLY...!!! Wow, you must have an awful lot of inside info.
So what's the new series coming out for U.S. ONLY then mate? Or shall I ask Rob to spill the beans?
Cheers
H
I have spoken to Rob who says he has it on the highest authority that the upcomming new series is Great Philosophers. The first is a SL of 2000 pieces of Socrates drinking hemlock. Dealers have already been notified but are all sworn to secrecy by the special insider oath of allegiance. Following on the Great philosophers there is still debate at K and C central between the Victorian Circus series or Great cricket players.
I understand K&C UK looked at the Great Cricket players idea but could not find enough English examples to make it viable.
Rob
Yep, have to be all Aussies in that range![]()
Mind you Pieterson's quite good....D'OH!
Rob
Well I can tell you one thing there won't be any SOuth Africans in the great philosophers series. Not sure about Aussies maybe Oz knows a few

At the risk of starting a forum singalong,Wasn't there a Monty Python 'Philosophers song'
Rob
Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
Who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out-consume
Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, [some versions have 'Schopenhauer and Hegel']
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.
There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'Bout the raising of the wrist.
Socrates, himself, was permanently p.
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away--
Half a crate of whisky every day.
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle.
Hobbes was fond of his dram,
And René Descartes was a drunken f.
'I drink, therefore I am.'
Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed,
A lovely little thinker,
But a b when he's p .
That's their second best song, just behind "the Lumberjack Song" and just ahead of "I like Chinese" . . .[/QUOTE ]
I agree,i also like 'Finland'![]()
Well if you really like it, seems like you can have it as a ring toneThats the one!![]()
