I just wanted to pass on my thanks to Andy and everyone at K&C.This latest dispatches is so good for us WW2 collectors. The King Tiger is fantastic and a must have. The Schwimm is also very cool and its good to see one in whitewash with cover up.The Polish figures will also be a great addition to the Arnhem line up.

Myself and many others have been requesting a new KT and Andy has obviously heard this call,so thanks very much.:)

Rob

i agree with Rob, this month's dispatches have been outstanding..:D

that KT is a must buy for me...:)

Luckily at the chicago show K&C will not release any new WW2 items, i'll collate my resources for the KT and all the panzergrenadiers.

the LAH band is excellent too, but i'll have to discipline myself, and concentrate on the winter diorama.

saying that, if Andy releases a fall of Singapore line, i think i'm in trouble.

A lot of standout pieces in this dispatches:cool: Favourite one though is the german 'waiting and smoking' The swimwagen is done very nicely and the Tiger looks huge! and That band is massive,

Yes the KT looks like it will be in the same league as the Tunisian Tiger.I agree re the single figures,i especially like the Polish Arnhem officer.

All good stuff especially for WWII German collectors like me :D Man did you see the size of the KT compared to the riders on the back, that is one big momma. I'm so glad I never bought one of the earlier versions.

I don't know which schwimmwagen I will get. I prefer the Battle of the Bulge for its display value but I guess I will have to get both as the Pooper Trooper version is sure to have a cult-collector status at some stage and it does have a great camo finish. And the other new BoB German figures are must haves for me especially the stretcher party.

I didn't get the recent Hitler Paris Merc as I was waiting for another Parade vehicle and this latest version certainly doesn't disappoint. The German Band is likely to have a high sticker price but what a colorful display it would make.

Its HUGE isn't it?!.I agree about the Schwimm's.I love the summer version too but am not worried about the guy 'at ease'.As i don't collect LAH the band doesn't interest me but i imagine if you collect this range it would be a must have.

Rob, I don't have a lot of LAH stuff myself as you really need to get multiple poses for that range and I would rather have more variety with a lot of different poses. However that band has a lot of different poses and if it's not to expensive I reckon I will grab it in due course.

i do wonder if there will be 2 versions of the KT like the previous Porsche version, you know the brown/yellow and the green/yellow camo versions?

if K&C do, there's a big chance i'll get both :D

What do you think of the single figs Oz,and how about those tank riders.I think the Stretcher party looks real good close up.

'Winter Scout' and 'Standing Smoking' are the stand outs for me in the single figures, the later doesn't have a base so I wonder if he was to be part of the the KT Riders set at some stage. Of course that's not to say they are better than the multiples, and for me the German Medics Set is the pick of the lot.

i do wonder if those panzergrenadier tank riders will work well with the BBG003?

I don't see why they wouldn't, but I have to say I usually sit my Tank Rider sets around camp fires and such rather than on the back of the tanks as they are harder to see in displays that way.

Or do you mean the new set may be smaller figures  The Horror

Yes both of those could be used in many different scenarios i guess. With supplies from China not what they were i guess the retired items will also go pretty quickly this month.

Rob

Btw, I just checked the worldtimezone web site and the early risers in the US should be up and about soon. They will get a surprise as the dispatch was a bit late.

Yes i guess the rest of the world are getting their orders in for the M12,i sure didn't want to miss out on that one

DD-078 M-12 155 mm Motor Gun Carriage has been a real sleeper imo. I guess it seemed expensive when it came out but with all the price increases lately its RRP of $165 is pretty cheap in retrospect.

Couldn't agree more,a bargain in fact. And my allies need all the firepower they can get!;).The WW2 range has taken quite a hit in retirements lately, its led to some difficult decisions for me.

I guess with all the new WWII stuff that keeps coming means there needs to be plenty let go.

So much US and British D Day stuff has been retired over the last few months,as you say some of it i guess to make room,or is something else heading Normandy way????;)

Haven't been posting properly lately, just lurking, but I'll have to come back out of the shadows for these.......absolutely brilliant!!

I was thrilled enough about the new Waffen SS sets in last month's dispatches, but this time around the good news is even better. It's very rare that I know in the first week of September what I want for Christmas, but I think the King Tiger is definitely it;). I've cleared the way last week by finally losing my K&C vehicle cherry and ordering the WSS Kubelwagon, so this beast looks set to complement it nicely.

The Polish paras look superb as well for any Arnhem fans out there. Funnily enough, a Polish work colleague of mine's husband is heavily into the reenactment of the 1st Polish Para Brigade - I had the chance to meet him at a military vehicle show over the weekend and handle some of the equipment, Lee-Enfields, etc. I'll definitely be pointing him in the direction of the K&C website now - these guys look right up his street. Who knows, I might even succeed in recruiting a new collector?

Anyway, huge well-done to all as ever, absolutely great news to start the month off with!

Cheers,

Molloy.
