That is one set which I really wish I could get hold of.

Of course, Men, you wouldn't set up the set so the Butcher gets it from the turncoat NNC private, now. Would you? ;)
Mike

No but he looks good here holding his own....The Lt.

The seller also has an Under Two Flags Landing party which is quite nice

Damian what sort of money did these sell for new ??
cheers Rob

I think it was 1807 USD for the most recent one.
It was definitely a Trophy. There was a seller who had a couple of nice boats on a few months ago but there was some doubt as to whether they were Trophy or not. These two are the real deal.

Thanks Damian , They look great and i,m sorely tempted to give
the CC card a hiding.
regards Rob [once again living in a country looking to claim ownership of the best Rugby team in the world between world cups:eek:]

Rob
There is a natural order in world rugby. As long as NZ and Sa are battling it out for first and second place then there is order. It took us almost 100 years to win in Dunedin but we eventually did it. SA vs NZ remains the classic clash in world rugby.

Damian,
It says made by Hoffman. Who is he/she? The figures don't appear to be
Trophy either...It also mentions scratch-built which indicates a non-production item. I don't think this is Trophy related at all. Anyone else have any insight?
Mike

I agree with you Mike and it has the word conv. in the title ( short for conversion?). I wonder if it was a damaged Trophy boat and they decided to fix her up

As far as I know Trophy made the following Boats

Arab Dhow
Nile Gunboat
Nile Steamer Victoria
USS Eagle
CSS Leopard
HMS Lion

SO I do not think that boat is a Trophy piece

I am going to say that it is a Maddicus second-rate:D

I just shot an eBay message off to the seller, to ask about the boat. We'll see what he says.

Prost!
