Me 163 'KOMET' (1 Viewer)

LOL:D It seems like that lately. I wonder whhen the dollar climbs again will prices go back to normal or will we just keep paying more?

Ah.....when the prices go back to normal......we will probably be using

jet-packs to zoom over to Ye Olde Toy Shoppe.:D

Probably wishful thinking on my part!

I am sorry if I am missing something but what exactly is the fascination with this Komet. It seems to me to be a pretty obscure sort of flying machine as far as I can work out. Why woudl two companies both be so keen to produce it. Personally the Rommel Horch or some competitively priced version of a more iconic plane would be more welcome.

That would be 2061. I venture to say that many of us will be taking a dirt nap by then:D

Could someone ask Andy about the release date in Chicago? Also whether there will be support vehicles and Luftwaffe figures? It would be great if KC has a prototype.

The Komet was a dangerous little machine to friend and foe. The maximum flight time was about 7 minutes. The landing gear also dropped on take off - so it was a rough landing. The fuel used was extremely volatile - I think the pilots even wore asbestos flight suits.

Engaged my fathers B17 group,,he said they were good for one pass..15th Af fighter groups stacked mustangs and P38s at various altitudes to respond.
