I was at Wachovia center - section 2 right at the freakin stage! It was amazing to say the least - they just rock.

I was to the left of the stage right where the ramp came down:

Highway to Hell

If you like them and can get tickets you really should. I can't imagine touring much longer - Brian Johnson is 61. How long can he sing like that?

Anyways, if you can, just go...

Hey, if Keith Richards won't die yet, Brian Johnson oughta live another 100 years.

Sound like a rockin' good time, I think AC/DC has been great, from the very first album, right up to now.

I have Sirius radio and the have an AC/DC station and thats all I've been listening to for the last couple of weeks.

I haven't seen AC/DC since 1984. It was a great show then and I'm sure you had a great time!:cool:

I,ll stick with Barry Manilow!
I,m not being funny, I really like his music.

Nothing wrong with Barry.

I came upon AC/DC fairly late. Was in a bar in about 1995 when they were playing the Thunderstruck video and others. Loved it. Although my kids don't appreciate my air guitar/impersonations whenever I hear Thunder.
Whilst on the subject of music if the musical "We Will Rock You" is ever in your area I strongly recommend it. All the classic Queen songs and very well done.
Regards
Brett

Seen AC/DC with both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson, superb band they really do rock.'Whole lotta Rosie' 'Shot down in flames' 'Shake your foundations' so many good tracks. They don't make rock bands like that anymore!

I've seen Barry Manilow live too, I guess you could say I have eclectic taste in music. I've seen Judas Priest and Gladis Knight, Iron Maiden and the Village People, Van Halen and Billy Joel, the Eagles and Elton John (none together, obviously:eek::D;)). Not to mention the Clash, Big Audio Dynamite, Public Image Limited, the Ramones, Def Leopard, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and quite a few opera companies and symphonies.

Gideon,
you lucky dog, last time I saw the "thunder from down under" was in 1991, a senior in high school, what a blast, 3 buddies, a bottle of Jim Beam, rest is history. I just got the new album and love it.

Like Louis, I also hit every end of the spectrum musically, but the hard/heavy rock of the 70s thru 90s is my real deal. The true godfather and my all time favorite is >......Ozzy Osbourne.

You have not lived life to you see Ozzy Osbourne on stage, trust me.

Yeah! The Razors Edge tour. I was at MSG in the rafters for that show - 1991, I was 15 or 16 and we didn't bother with the alchol if you catch the whiff I'm exhaling.

They were great back then too but this show was so much better - could be my proximity to the stage but somehow the show just seemed tighter and more powerfull. Had to be the proximity to two walls of Marshalls cranked and Phil Rudd.

Being in the front is definitely a really neat experience. I have seen Ozzy in Rows 2, 5 and 7. Believe it or not, with him, 7 sounded the best, I think it was the way the sound carried at the event. Also, in Row 7, he couldn't quite get you with the buckets of water!!!

Razors Edge yes, I caught the whiff you exhaled!

Tom,

Do you still have your hearing?:D

Next year, when Lamb of God comes to this area, my son and I will be going to see them. My son says I won't last one second in the Wall of Death. I told him I'd be leading the Wall :D:eek:

Well, my son is a metal head. They have so many genres in there it drives you crazy. He loves death metal (which I loathe) but I can take LOG, which are labeled as thrash. They're similar to or compete with Slayer. Have you ever seen these mosh pits that people go into it? I don't get it. People get seriously hurt in there. We've prohibited him from doing that but I'm sure he ain't listening.

Brad, Barry Manilow brings the female side of me out!
I,m surprised I didn't get more greif!
