Unfortunately, I did not receive any Toy Soldiers this year, but I would like to see what goodies the other forum members received as Christmas gifts.

In the toy soldier area, I received the Jenkins Khartoum set and Four Feathers FF 01 set (Streets of Cairo).

In the non-TS area, a PRS guitar (my avatar), Beatles Rockband game and a box set of the Doors at the Felt Forum.

Toy soldiers was; BBA001 and BBA020, and then with gift cards and cash I will be getting BBA021 and BBA022!
I also recieved lots of Hudson and Allen studio scenics to make my Battle of the Bulge diorama I'll be starting on today!:)

This what I received that is TS related. I received a whole host of things for our new house, shovels, rakes, ladders etc.........I was really quite spoiled.

I recevied some additional Zulu War 28MM metal Black Tree Design figures so I can eventually complete my Rorke's Drift wargame forces and then eventually move on to Isandlwana.
I also got some great DVD's:
My Boy Jack
Yamato (English subtitles)
Sharp's rifles (1st 3 dvd's in the series)
The Patriot revisited (director's edition)

and Call of Duty Modern Warfare II for Xbox 360.

so I made a haul!

At least they put a ribbon on the coal!!:D

I did rather well this year Santa brought several sets of soldiers and really nice Derek Jeter Autographed baseball. Doesnt get better than baseball and toy soldiers if you ask me! So I am a pretty happy guy.

My neighbors know I collect and went on-line and found Treefrog Treasures w/o any knowledge from me. They got me a gift certificate because I have been escorting their daughter to the school bus some mornings. Nice folks.

Yes I do. This is a most interesting conflict and you will be hearing more about it from me. I hope to collect all the sets in Bill's series. The Abyssinian Expedition was meant to be a "shock and awe" demonstration by the British using modern technology in a remote and difficult environment during the 19th C "Scramble for Africa". It was a very successful campaign for the Brits and was avidly reported in the press. Henry Morton Stanley ("Dr. Livingston I presume") was embedded with the troops and later wrote a book on it.

A wonderful set, Randy,
and so fitting your interest.
Looking forward to see and hear more from you about this subject in the future.

Along with a portable light box photo studio I got this light which will come in very handy for my figure and diorama pictures.

Frank,
you already showed some most impressive photos with your previous equipment. Now, this light fixture looks very professional.
It is very exciting to look for your future photos sessions.
