Dispatches Are Up Now! (1 Viewer)

A great start to 2010 fellow collectors! I said awhile back that I was enjoying K&C's move into new areas of WWII like Naval and Air Force figures instead of just ground troops and now we have yet another line......Kreigsmarine. Nice looking lineup, the gold trim on their uniforms look cool and distinctive. I especially like KM 002, that figure really captures the essence of the U-boat troops. Another standout is KM016, that car is really nice. Can more Royal Navy figures be far off??? The Nissen hut is a definite buy.

Another question this dispatch raises, how many Nissen huts do I want?;)

Rob

Want, or can realistically afford / have space to display?

I can guess at the former, but the latter will no doubt take some diplomatic negotion with Mrs. W. ;):D

Actually, I just noticed that the hut looks like it's reversable, with different 'ends', a number 7 at one end and 8 at the other, with different equipment, so two would look pretty cool together.

Yes its a great idea,it seems a new trend from K&C to offer differently numbered items that is most welcome and very useful in dio situations.

As you say though Simon, space is an issue:rolleyes:

Does anyone know the size of the huts (their bases)? And where else could they be used other than airfields?

Normandy invasion preparation areas, with your Allied Tank crew billeted in these you could have your US/Brit Tanks parked outside. How about one at a large supply depot?.A prisoner of war camp would be good, but we havn't anywhere near enough prisoners as of yet!.

Rob

I will probably get one of the Huts. Dont think I will have room for two.

Nissen hut is a great addition to the airfield dios but what about the ambulance with the RAF paint scheme? Andy posted a pic a few months ago. Was that only a tease?

I think it will be released later in the year,as its the Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary this year I think there will be more stuff in the summer.

The missing product code could be for almost anything. K&C has done this before - leaving a product code gap or two. Some have been unfilled for years while others have been filled in within the past year. It could be a second mini-sub, or something completely different, or just a whimsical idea in Andy's head.

As for a U-Boat at 1:30 scale, it would be too big for even a shock and awe piece.

Terry

Dont say that............:D Hope Rick dosen't read this........:)

Dude, I'm there already. She said, "don't let the door hit you on the way out!" :D:eek:;)

Naaaaah, he wouldn't have me because when I'm over there, I'm always complaining how the airplanes are dusty

Oh, no doubt I want 2 of them, but I've no idea where I'd put them. My Hurricane is already doing a 'Badolato Special' as a dust collecting device on top of my display cabinets, as the wing span is an inch or so too long. (Sorry Louis, Brad's to blame :p).

I need a bigger house. In 1:1 scale. Or turf the kids out in to the garden shed. Hmmmmm.......

Yes, I'm always to blame, aren't I:p Ohh, poor little ole me, whatever shall I do? :D:rolleyes:
