Yes indeed Craig, its a little known fact that there were Brits on Omaha beach. Some whose boats were sunk or damaged had to seek cover on that beach with all the other brave guys that day.

I would go for it Craig,LCT's Tanks etc, will look awesome:cool:

It depends on which landing craft it is. Rob is correct about British sailors landing a large number of US troops, but they didn't use every type of US landing craft. The large landing craft carrying the stack Sherman looks to be US manned. I'm not sure American sailors landed any British armour or that the Brits used this particular model of landing craft. If this was a type of landing craft used by the Brits, it would look better with a British crew landing a Firefly. I wonder if there will be multiple small production runs with variations of this model?

Let's wait for the dispatches - that may clear things up.

Can anyone answer if that is a new 2 1/2 ton truck behind the crane in the dock scenes. Thanks Greg

I think it was pointed out by people at the show that it is a prop and not a new K&C model. We''ll know for sure when the dispatches come out.

Hi everyone, The was great and little better attended than last year, that was quite apparent. It was great to hang out with so many Tree Froggers ("the kilted one" [KV was non-kilted at the show btw:eek:, but yes, he was at least wearing pants!:p], Kurt, nmrocks, Ed Curriel, Marc (beaufighter), Carlos, Howard, and many other great people including a new collector friend I made from Germany, Bernd). From a vendor POV, it seemed like sales were brisk, and most vendors were very busy selling and reported better gains than last year. It was a fantastic time! As promised, here are a few more K & C pics fresh from the show, enjoy!

Thanks for all the wonderful pics. All those new American D-Day sets look splendid! I've been all night gazing in wonderment at them and the diorama scene they are in. Not really surprised to see more Yanks being released considering last year was primarily Commonwealth D-Day releases. The USN figures, landing craft ( 2! types ), and G.I.'s ready to board look amazing.
My favourite set is still the wounded/surrendering British Arnhem paratrooper set. ;)

Thanks for sharing your photos with us. The USS San Pablo is great looking -

Thanks for the pictures. The firefly is something I've been waiting for K&C to do. Looks really good.

Your welcome wwiibuff, mestell and CFM. I'm glad you enjoyed the pics, and I hopefully, it brought you a little bit of the show to you. I will do the same thing at next year's Westcoaster, and I'm already looking forward to it:)!

Sounds like it is a future release now, according to people who spoke to Andy at the show.It sure would make for an interesting dockside dio.

Terry is right they are definitely US Crew.

I think we should also say that whatever the crew,US/Brit configuration etc,if you like what you see and are happy with it,go for it Craig. There are no rules and I think we should be careful not go overboard with what we can and can't display together-within reason of course:D
