Can any of you guys who have both the K&C Firefly and the Figarti version tell me if the K&C version is bigger?. Thanks for any info

I suspect the Figarti Firefly is a bit undersized compared to their bulldozer and stack Sherman when it should actually be a bit bigger (longer). So it is likely smaller than the K&C version. Very good question though. Did you hear something to get your interest?

No what happened is that I have begun work on my latest dio which will feature K&C's firefly, when I placed Figarti's version on the dio base to get an idea of placing etc it looked smaller than expected in situ, so am hoping K&C's is bigger.

If someone who already has the K&C version knows the Firefly model length (not including the gun) and width, you can measure the Figarti and have your answer. I would guess that the K&C version is bigger.

Both are really nice models though.

It's a really tough call. I think I have a preference for the K&C version. I quite like that shade of green as it goes well with the Cromwell. However both are well detailed with the Figarti one having slightly more detail.
As a British armour collector you can't go wrong with either or preferably both!

Problem is the figarti firefly is the right colour & I can't understand why K&C is using the wrong colour :confused:
 
I wonder why the paint jobs are flaking its happening to a few at least K&C stays on though, that is not a dig at Figarti at all, just an observation as, its fundamental to painted figures. I IMO prefer the K&C firefly.

The paint flaking is an old issue and has been resolved as has been pointed out a few times. There is no need to raise it again.
