sad that someone had to gut their collection like that. Even has part of the old 88 crew

Saw them. Keeping my eye on the first one. Have the second, WS 14 Stug. Nice tank. Some come with figure and some not.

The tank is missing the tank commander and the box, too bad, what are the odds it shows up on the winning bidders end in one piece.

As far as the first lot, why would you sell a whole hodgepodge of stuff thrown together like that.

Unless you had no clue of what you're selling...................

Agreed! But that large lot might make for a fun restoration project provided they are least packaged somewhat with care.

Suppose someone will get a bargain. My worry would be if they are all just wrapped in the same hodgepodge manner they will come even more chipped than they are. It would be fun if you just did not care that they were the 'older' somewhat desirable sets and just thought what the hell... lets have some fun.

True, but you hit the nail on the head; "packaged somewhat with care", which especially with the tank would be dicey at best.

Mind as we are all talking about this its bound to get back to the seller and, watch the price increase as a result

The StuH42 should not be too risky for safe shipping. The gun is a seperate piece, and the photo on the auction looks like the original owner didn't glue it on. The shipper would really have to be grossly negligent for anything to break on this AFV. This is btw one of my favorites-it's one of the rare buttoned up infantry support vehicles that can be put in action scenes. The close up pics reveal the crudeness of the casting, but at normal vision distance, you don't see those imperfections & the piece it quite nice. 1/30 too.

True, it is a seperate piece and hopefully the seller knows this as well as if not, it will be seperate for sure when it shows up.

You are also assuming he will bubble wrap the tank; I've seen tanks wrapped in newspaper with virtually no peanuts or other such items in the box, it did not turn out well...............
