LOL-Mitch, it's been a GREAT last few days (and no Crusaders to drool over yet). I have NO idea how I'm going to budget for all I've seen, but it's sure gonna be fun.

One new Tiger 1 = 1 chicken, flagon of ale and some carrots... Fair exchange is no robbery so they say. No, I think your right just need more £££££

Can't wait to see some good close-ups of the new Tiger. It reminds me of an actual tank near Leningrad - can't quite put my finger on it.
And as for questions about whether this will replace the much sought after Winter Tiger diorama set, IMO it won't. The old Winter tiger is a classic set and there aren't that many. The new Tiger is more of a single piece collectable as a tank and not a diorama. And kudos to Andy as he has been careful with new versions of a model not making the older versions less desireable - true to his word as he said he would not remake old models but that the newer versions would be significantly different..

Were the initial Tiger 1's given to units like 502 etc for the Leningrad campaign painted panzer grey and then whitewashed by the crews?? Not many were given I think five and the rest was Panzer III's and things like that.
I too am looking forward very much to seeing some promo pictures of this tank
