Chances are its even better up close. This was brought home to me again in London yesterday. Having seen the pics of the FW190 since it was announced I was looking forward to seeing it, but was blown away by just how good it is up close. The painting, weathering and finish on it are just great, got to be one of the best Polystone aircraft released so far, even though the Spit is my favourite.

Nothing like seing these things up close, the only downside is that you see so much excellent stuff it makes you want to spend much more than you should!:)

Anyone consiering buying the FW190, you'll be glad you did:cool:

Its always amazed me how manufacturers pictures of products always seem not to give the best impression of the products. I cannot understand this but, it seems another point in case here with the FW190

Has to be K&C'S best war bird to date IMO. Hope Stuka looks better. Keep up good work K&C...Ron

Guy, Brad's pics are much closer up than mine, thanks Brad. This really is a superb aircraft from K&C :cool:

Cheers guys

It was my backyard. Usually I'm not good with closeups but somehow this worked. We got a little snow today so maybe I can try that next :)

Don't get me wrong here, I thought TG's FW190 was nice, no doubt about it. But it had a satin finish where K&C's has a mat more realistic finish in my view. The painting and weathering are spot on, and just that bit superior. Now before I get pounced and denounced as a rabid K&C fan, let me state TG's FJ's are really nice, very good figures indeed and I have some myself. For adults its perfectly possible to say one thing is ok and others are superb from the same company,its called be open minded and honest. Its a shame I have to explain all that but there are some very insulting people about who straight away jump to conclusions and can't handle the concept I outlined above.:rolleyes:

Just make sure you dont' mention anything about the logs being on the wrong side and all will be fine Rob.....................

I didn't say they were on the wrong side. And the problem was fixed by turning the tank to face the other direction. :D Only Jazzeum was confused by this, so I explained the log jam problem to him, and he is fine now - I think :confused::D

Picked up my K&C Fw 190 today & got to say I'm well happy :cool: had a look at the TG one at the London show but the K&C paint finish done it for me & thought the TG look on the small side after looking at the K&C one ^&confuse , I think the paint finish & the open canopy are a big + point over the K&C Me 262 as well as the 262 look a bit bright

Couldn't agree more Neil, I too like the TG version but K&C's version was less satin and more realistic finish for me, congrats on your purchases....you'll be wanting more Luftwaffe figures now then!:wink2:

Well I've got the Me 163 Komet coming in the post as we speak thank to a great forum member but the figures make the planes come a live ^&cool . I will post a photo next & fill a need to buy RAF figures now ^&grin

I just love these new Warbirds, right from the off with the Hurricane we've been given aircraft of quality and at a good price, for me the stand outs are the Spit,FW 190 and the Hurricane but am expecting the Typhoon to be awesome....how great is this hobby guys!:smile2:{bravo}}

I agree Rob. I have the two Hurricanes and they are far more impressive in the flesh than in the pictures.... Can't wait for the RAF fuel bowser to go along with the Tilly and Ambulance.
