Over here in the UK its called "Candy Floss" and we have "Toffee Apples" as well. Same teeth rotting stuff the world over.

Jeff

Hi Jeff, now that I think of it we call em "Toffee Apples" as well. I guess I got mixed up with Candy Apple Red, being one of my favourite car colors. Btw, red cars tend to fade faster than most other colors in our hot climate, that's why we mostly have white cars - not much snow here either ;)

Believe it or not, the second best meal I ever had in my life was in London, at a sonderful seafood and fresh game restaurant called "Scotts". I had Venison Medalions that were sublime, and my wife had the house specialty, Seafood Pie, which was to die for. Needless to say, a step up from fish and chips. For those wondering, the best meal I ever had was in Prague, at a restaurant whose name I couldn't pronouce or spell, Stag Medalions. They were so good I ate there two nights running, and had the exact same meal right down to the Cuban cigar at the end.

Excellent - nice finish. :D

Well Scotts sounds good, and not a deep fried candy bar in sight!

Rob

Funny,

That picture must like a blown up version of your arteries once you've consumed one. Good job I can't see my arteries, otherwise it might put me off. :D

Yah know, despite all the disparaging comments, deep-fried candy bars really do have a great taste and whenever they are offered long lines occur for the opportunity to indulge. But, it's like Ben Franklin once said, "All things in moderation.";)

So, perhaps K&C should offer a limited edition Old Streets of Hong Kong Street Vendor with Cart selling, yes I'm gon’a say it, deep fried candy bars:rolleyes:
