Does anyone know/think May will be another month of many retirements? I'm a bit concerned the massive retirements of larger boxed items will continue.
Have to agree with Terry. I think there will be a steady flow until they clean out the stock they want to clean out, to get inventory to manageable levels.
Think your right & wonder if K&C have gone as far as they want with this range :rolleyes2:Yes - there goes Arnhem {eek3}^&grin^&grin

Quiet Possibe....we will see more retirements of larger items...but for every item retired I think we will see some replacements either by K/C or another manufacturer in some form or another...CS seems to be producing quite a few iconic WWII subjects especially in regards to the King Tiger.... and at a decent price point....The new 88mm Gun also looks pretty good.
Think your spot on Terry :wink2:There are IMO some fairly significant difference between the manufacturers of AFVs that appeal/don't appeal to different collectors. It's pretty subjective to say one is better than the rest because better is defined by the individual. I find that even within the AFVs of a single manufacturer, some pieces are better than others i.e. some AFV models appeal to me more than others.
So I take blanket statements for what they are worth - nothing.

Where's the blanket statement??
Rob

That the replacements will be identical or as good/better than the retired item. We don't know that even within one manufacturer let alone between manufacturers. Besides, how many retired items have been replaced? By that I mean an item is retired and another producer (or even the same one) jumps in to fill the gap. Not many I think. Go down the list of K&C retirements of AFVs and see how few of the same model have been replaced by K&C or anyone else.
