Finally had to accept that my AFV Car park was over flowing and whilst I was out the other day my good lady purchased some new bookcases to put all these items which don't have a space at the moment on. Got some putting together to do this week, so if you hear shouting and swearing from across the atlantic you know I've just hit myself with a Hammer again!:wink2:

Thanks Wayne,

They are a pain putting together arn't they!^&grin

My office is a small spare bedroom which is now packed with K&C, books and dvd's and I was desperate for parking space. Now my better half has agreed to me having the garage converted into a much bigger study in the future for all my stuff. So for now we just purchased some pretty cheap bookcases as I'm going to want some nicer ones when I get the new room.

Its a great set and one that I am quite glad I managed to get before it went disco. Time for a new version me thinks. Where do you store the warbirds?? I cannot get them on the size shelves I have and the cabinets are not big enough so, they go on the top of bookshelves which, is not the best for them
Mitch

Thanks Mitch. Yes its tiny isn't it!

Cheers

Thanks guys, there is no way I can buy every AFV released so I try and have a good representation of each theater of the War if possible.

That is one impressive collection of AFV's. Looks like one part of the house I'd spend a lot of time in. Thanks for the peek into your collection, nice pics. K&C sure has made a lot of cool stuff over the years and they look really impressive when put together into a "parking lot".

I noticed a U.S. sapper with a pole charge. I don't recognize it. What set and make is it?

Thats DD78 M12 155MM Gun

No need to purchase any extra overflow parking. I will donate all my extra space. Please forward to me!!!! Excelent collection.

Impressive AFV collection, Rob. I find the most striking to be the Western Desert markings of the Matilda and the little Vickers. Very colorful and crisply marked. The collection looks great. -- Al

Rob,
I am flabbergasted !!! What a tremendous collection . I thought I had a nice collection, but it is nothing compared to yours. (I only started collecting K&C 2 years ago). As far as the book shelfs are concerned ,I hope for you they are not IKEA, because you need an engineering degree to put these together .
guy:smile2:

Collection looks amazing and what is more amazing is a wife who will help set all those afv's on the shelves.looks wonderful .

Hell's Teeth Rob {eek3}{eek3}{eek3}

Where in Sam Hill's name is Little Round Top, 20th Maine and Hood's Division going to live???????

An "Incredible" collection, and wonderfully displayed, to be sure. I see it has even extended to the shelves to the left. I feel sorry for the poor Landing Craft propped up against the wall, though, seems lonely. I guess you will need to start an entirely new themed cabinet.

Hi Rob,

That's an impressive fleet of armoured vehicles you have there.

Hope you don't have to pay parking fees......^&grin:tongue:

Cheers, Raymond:)
